Vivae is a keylogger
Posted
Here's the thread about Vivae, don't download it: https://wearedevs.net/forum/t/11801
I found out that Vivae was a keylogger when my memory usage was exceeding 90% despite only having google chrome open. I also noticed that in task manager, an application called Synaptic Pointing Device was running and all my .exe files had a picture of a hacker instead of the default icon. So I ran malwarebytes and surprise, surprise, I had a keylogger.
This thread was made to inform you not to download Vivae.

Actually, there is 2 scenarios.
- He used a Cracked Obfuscator
Back when me, Zera, and SimplyAleks worked on Spectrum, Zera decided to use a cracked VMP to obfuscate Spectrum, that VMP, turns out to infect your files with "Synaptics Pointing Driver", we had to get McGamin1738 to remove it, it was a long process ngl.
- He did actually infect it
This happened durning the KRNL Situation, someone was purposely infecting a KRNL bootstrapper to hand out to people, that's why me, McGamin1738, and Vegie thought that KRNL was purposely infecting people (they weren't).

Synaptic Pointing Device is usually built-in software for laptops
usually for things like touch screen or touchpads
also, I don't think keyloggers eat up resources
I may be wrong but it prob just a false positive
as you only ran it with Malwarebytes
currently getting some on to decompile for me
UPDATE:
it seems that isn't a keylogger
BUT
it downloads a "driver" after making contact with a Chinese server
which is prob a cpu crypto miner
(thx to stan for helping decomplie)
