Nemanja Mulasmajic—Riot Games alumni and co-founders of anti-tamper company Byfron Technologies—argued in a GDC presentation that cheaters aren't always simply the enemy; they can often be some of a game's best players, customers, collectors, and content creators. Attacking cheaters with a zero-tolerance, one-size-fits-all policy can be akin to attacking your game's community. Cheating is born out of a love for the game a lot of times...seeking to reform or dissuade the cheaters can be more effective than trying to ban them.

However, we've seen that @Nemi on this forum states that he agrees with enacting that zero-tolerance policy.  Was Nemi's opinion also purchased by Rōblox as a part of the lump-sum?  I think not.

With the direction of how the PC platform is going, don't you think Microsoft is going to pull an Apple sometime soon? Specialized hardware (e.g. TPM) will turn the last "free" frontier, the PC, into a glorified console. With that, Microsoft is bound to take a cut of all sales.

From my observation, Nemi is quite the opposite of an authoritatian if he not only agrees to a post which condemns Apple's practices, but also responds with a criticism of TPM.

This is one of two posts from @Nemi which is a reply.  Both are addressed to the same user and only serve the purpose of referring to an admin (CubeFaces) to verify the account's connection with Nemanja.  @Nemi linked to a Twitter account which doesn't have any mention of hacker forums and the like.  A more efficient way to verify that connection involves publishing a screenshot of the WeAreDevs post on Nemi's Twitter account.  Moreoever, it just looks pretentious for Nemi to make just one post on WeAreDevs, as oddly-worded as it is, and only respond to us if it helps prove his authority.  

 

 

The recent post by @Nemi claims that he will personally reverse-engineer any exploits which come up in the future.  This is information which has already been brought up in our circles and has been circulating since last October.  The post also said that Hyperion will be expanding to other platforms, which might be the only reasonable conclusion given how multimodel exploiting has become over the last few years.

 

Nemi doesn't sound pretentious all when you see him on social media.  He would have no reason to do so on a script-execution forum such as ours.

 

My guess is that @Nemi is a seasoned exploiter on our platform who knows their terms (e.g., Hyperion v.s. Byfron) and is willing to test how well they can get people to perceive as an authority figure.

 

I may be very wrong.
