A Reminder About Proper Attribution in Projects
Posted
Zayn has been repeatedly plagiarizing other people’s work, and it’s time to call it out.
Across multiple conversations, he’s openly admitted to pulling full projects from GitHub, making minimal surface-level changes, like renaming buttons or adjusting colors and then claiming he built them from scratch. This isn’t a one-time thing. It’s a pattern.
He:
Found outdated source code
Patched it just enough to stop it from crashing
Dropped in a UI from another repo
Made minor cosmetic tweaks
Claimed the entire thing as his own work
That’s not development. That’s skidding.
This isn’t gatekeeping. It’s about giving credit where it’s due and holding people accountable when they fake their skills while discrediting actual devs.
The screenshots speak for themselves.
If you're ever thinking about working with Zayn, or Ethan keep this in mind.
Don’t be like Zayn. Don’t build your ego on stolen work.

Even if this is true, I believe using another persons ui is ok aslong as you give credit where credit is due. He should give credit if this is correct.
I am not saying I believe it nor dont believe it. I am not siding with anyone.
