Its annoying when you want to reply and the message is too short. you have to put /chaars or something. it would be good for less of a chars limit. maybe like 3 letters chars limit

Thread replies should be valuable content. The high limit is meant to encourage this. If your reply is too short, it probably offers little value and is likely spam just to get your post count up.

Technically, adding /chars or whatever is bypassing the system, which is against the rules. Specifically rule 8. Not that anyone bothers to enforce it for petty threads
