If you're just starting out learning to code, you might be debating whether PHP is worthwhile. Even though PHP may not be as well-known as some other programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, or Python, it powers nearly 78 percent of all well-known websites.

I know PHP but stopped using it recently. I just simply don't have any projects to make, but I think yes it is worth learning.

In my opinion, PHP may be good for some websites, but it has its downsides. It's mostly used on the server-side, has a bad reputation for confusing syntax, poor performance and a lack of modern frameworks/libraries. You might want to consider learning other languages before making a decision.
