What happened to SS scripts?
Posted
From what I have read on this site so far, SS scripts are frowned upon. Aren't SS scripts super effective? Is it because it's hard to get a backdoor into a game? Or because most modern games don't use too many remotes?

I wouldnt say frowned upon but tbh everyone forger abt em. They are really effective when it comes to exploiting as u can execute scripts effecting the server directly.
Why they arnt used to anymore is because developers have become more smart, roblox has become more aware and smart and in studio warns u of models containing scripts which was the primary method for gaining backdoor access and aswell for notifying if u have backdoor access you would need https request enabled in the game if the game didnt then no1 would know if it was backdoored.

While some players may argue that using SS scripts gives them an advantage, it is important to note that it ruins the game experience for others and undermines the integrity of the game. Moreover, the consequences of getting caught using such scripts can result in permanent bans and other penalties. Therefore, it is not recommended to use SS scripts or any other form of cheats or hacks in video games. It is always better to play fair and enjoy the game as it was intended to be played.

It's important to understand that exploiting these elements of a game is typically against the game's terms of service. This could lead to penalties such as getting banned from the game, and is generally frowned upon by the gaming community because it disrupts the balance and fairness of the game.
In terms of the technical aspect, modern games have evolved their security measures significantly. Most multiplayer games today are server-authoritative, meaning key decisions about game state are made on the server, not on the client. This design makes it more difficult for cheaters to manipulate the game state.
In general, the gaming community and developers encourage fair play and the enjoyment of games as they were intended to be played. Cheating not only ruins the experience for other players, but can also result in consequences for the cheater. It's always best to respect the rules and guidelines established by the game developers.

Backdooring a good Roblox game is really difficult nowadays and free models that contain requires and aren't from verified creators nor verified by Roblox aren't indexed anymore in the toolbox to my knowledge, using free models was a bad way of backdooring anyway since popular games don't use free models (I hope lol).
You could say that SS scripts are "super effective" but backdooring is hard and even if you get to backdoor something, it'll be a bad game.
If you find a vulnerability in a game using RemoteEvents that allow you to execute scripts on the server then that would be pretty OP but again, I believe popular games won't have this vulnerability, maybe others, but not a vulnerability that lets you run any script on the server.
