me and rexi made up and we're friends but since rexi decided to make this specific comment, I decided to prove him wrong and in the process ( not my intention, as I have nothing against rexi ), making him look stupid in a friendly way :kiss: :heart:

explanation:

in the first snippet of code, rexi is replicating exactly what memcpy does( a retar*ed thing to do as memcpy does the exact same and should be used lol ), then proceeded to call me stupid for telling him to use memcpy, then he decided to make a edit specifically for me to try it, and I did, and as expected: memcpy works perfectly fine as it should lol

as you see, memcpy works fine and is the way to go. I have no idea what happened with memcpy and him for him not to use it, even though he uses memmove later in his code, making his code inconsistent for not using memmove right there aswell and then calls me stupid for telling him to use memcpy lol.

the "change in ego" you seem to think I had has no correlation to being praised by a sw dev ( who on earth are you talking about, I don't even know where you got this from ), I really don't care and you seem to have a misconstrued notion that I just randomly attacked rexi. that isn't the case, me and rexi had an argument, started off as a joke and escalated into what you could call "beef", rexi said he's releasing a hooking library and during the argument I told him that the code he releases better be good otherwise this is coming ( and guess what, it did come ). Rexi said I'm just a kid which I don't care but you should really only say that if you can actually back it up and prove you're better than a kid, and this release did the exact opposite, instead he demonstrated beginner mistakes you don't expect from a seasoned developer, misconceptions on how C++ works and just bad practices, once I mentioned these to him all he did was say "you reached a new level of stupidity", which is ironic since the #1 change I told him to make, the same one he thought wouldn't work, works perfectly fine and is what should be used, and is what is commonly used by any intermediate or above developer( people that I have helped in C++ wouldn't make the mistakes he made ) as it's quite obvious, and that same #1 change I told him to make, he made it... he literally applied what I told him to his repository after calling me stupid for suggesting it.... feel free to check the repository commits and you'll see. he even had a little comment in there ( which is now deleted, but you can still see in the commits ) telling me SPECIFICALLY to try my suggestion, and as expected, it works perfectly fine... he has now applied my suggestion to his code.
