Is WRD Exploit API v2 Safe?

I downloaded the Exploit API v2 a few minutes ago. Windows Defender stopped me so I turned Windows Defender off. It detected the exploit as "trojan:win32/tiggre!plock", which is designed to steal information. Malwarebytes detects nothing. I put it in VirusTotal and scanned it to see that a lot of antivirus programs detected it.

Can looks be deceiving? Can you tell me if the exploit is legit and not a virus?

If it's not a virus, I would like an explination why it is considered a virus.

If it's the memory editing thats being detected, I would not understand because Cheat Engine 7.0 was never detected.
