I often encounter an issue where I'm unable to reply to threads in the forum. The reply box keeps loading indefinitely without allowing me to submit a response, let alone even write one. I am still able to create new threads without any problems.

Based on the logs, it seems this issue might be related to the forum's inability to access Google's ReCaptcha service.

Surprisingly you get notified when replies are added but they don't show

Strange. It seems to be working fine and I see plenty of other people making replies. I also moved away from Google's captcha a long time ago, so I have no clue how you'd be getting such an error. I'll look more thoroughly soon. Thank you for the report

Can you link a specific thread or is this for all threads?

It's for all threads. It just buffers indefinitely on my browser.

@WRDxTest Using Chrome works fine, by the way. I'm on Chromium writing this reply.

Logs dump (left is firefox, right is chromium):

Also, for some reason that one avatar in the global chat failed to load which caused a self-inflicted denial of service from my client spamming the server with requests lol.

I can't replicate the issue, so can't verify, but just made a fix attempt. My guess is the captcha was being called before it could fully load, so I made the captcha script load synchronously. Lmk if this works

Also fixed the avatar loop
