If you think WeAreDevs gives viruses, read this!

So a few mins ago there was a guy on the discord server saying that WeAreDevs is a virus and linking to an article that talks about the "WeAreDevs Virus". Link of the dumb article: https://www.lifewire.com/what-is-the-wearedevs-virus-4769553

The author, that i'm gonna call Noobie, first said that WeAreDevs is not a malware but that it downloads a malware. She accuses WeAreDevs of distributing droppers which basically download and run viruses in the background. First, it does not. I used JJSploit before and i never got a virus. Some exploits also ask you if they can download adware, but you can just say no to that. Also, that adware is not even a virus and it's not malicious, it's probably some dumb browser or an antivirus that you don't need. She then talks about what an exploit is (not a game exploit, like a real one) and assuming that it is from WeAreDevs. She then says "it is called the WeAreDevs virus when it can be traced back to that site". Like WTF does she mean by traced back? This is the person who created the term WeAreDevs virus. She then talks about how exploits work and it looks like she pretends to know what she is talking about. She is saying "Some of these ads are so malicious that you don't even need to click on them; they scan your system for vulnerabilities and attack with ransomware or other threats" about browser popups. The thing is those browser popups can only do browser javascript stuff, which is not gonna let you do something dangerously malicious to your computer and there is not even popups when downloading something like JJSploit.

She then talks about how to check if you had a virus from WeAreDevs, and she says it can infect that:

• Roblox
• Meep City
• Work at a Pizza Place
• Parkour Sim
• Auto Rap Battles

First of all, all of those games are in Roblox. Roblox is a platform. Second of all, it never happened (i used JJSploit for a long time). And of course, she then says you need an antivirus to get rid of it. She links to an article Lifewire wrote.

This article was basically an advert for antiviruses. If i think i should add something, i will add it. Please add more proof WeAreDevs is not a virus. This person destroyed the reputation of WeAreDevs just for an advert for antiviruses. I'm not saying she got paid, but that's basically what she did.

Oh, i forgot, Konekokitten too said WeAreDevs spreads viruses without knowing the truth. He said that all the vids in WRD got removed. I'm not sure about that one but i think it was for the transfer from WeCodeYT to WeAreDevs and WeAreDevs to WeAreDevs Exploits.
