Unlocking IP

Why do I need to "unlock my IP" what does that even do? That sounds ridiculous for an executor that didnt need it before, and why did my old version stop working? Did WRD seriously shutdown old versions just so people cant bypass the tacky key system?

This can limit access from a certain IP or device, prevent account sharing, or control access. When an old version of an executor stops working, it's usually because the developer intentionally stopped support to force users to switch to a newer version. This could be to ensure users update to a more secure version, prevent attempts to bypass the lock system, or implement new security measures. So, WRD could have discontinued the old versions for access control and mandated the use of a new version with a key authentication system.
Have a nice day!!!

"Unlocking your IP" is likely a step added to control access and prevent unauthorized use of the executor, which may now require verification to continue using it. Older versions may have stopped working if the developers disabled them to enforce these new checks and the key system. This is common for software that wants to secure its platform or monetize updates.
