I'm having trouble
Posted
Hi everyone,
I’m having some trouble with my PC. Lately, it’s been running much slower than it used to, even though I primarily use it for browsing and casual online games—not high-definition gaming.
I’ve already tried formatting the hard drive, but unfortunately, that hasn’t resolved the issue.
If anyone has suggestions or troubleshooting tips to help improve performance, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

Here are a few suggestions that might help improve its performance:
Check for Background Processes: Sometimes, programs running in the background can slow down your PC. Open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to see if there are any processes consuming a lot of resources.
Update Drivers: Outdated drivers can lead to performance issues. Make sure all your drivers, especially for graphics and the motherboard, are up to date.
Run a Malware Scan: Malware can significantly affect performance. Use a reliable antivirus program to scan your system for any threats.
Check Disk Health: Use tools like CrystalDiskInfo to check the health of your hard drive. A failing drive could be causing the slowdown.
Increase RAM: If your PC is low on RAM, consider upgrading it. This can greatly enhance multitasking and overall performance.
Disable Startup Programs: Prevent unnecessary programs from starting when your PC boots. You can manage these in the Task Manager under the "Startup" tab.
Consider SSD: If you’re using an HDD, switching to an SSD can dramatically improve boot and load times.
I hope one of these tips helps! Let us know how it goes.

Internet: Wired connection for stability (at least 25 Mbps).
OS: Windows 10 or 11.
