I prefer vestor images because they are made up of a grid of pixels, vector images are resolution-independent and can be scaled up or down without losing quality. I found many deer vector images for my website on depositphotos. This platform provides a wide range of visual assets, including photos, videos, and illustrations. I can gatherer a shortlist of images that could work well for different sections of my site. Vector graphics can also be used in web design for icons, buttons, banners, and other UI elements.

useful to know, thanks. Vector images are often used to create logos and branding materials because they can be resized without losing sharpness. Logos need to be adaptable for different contexts, such as business cards, websites, billboards, and more.

Raster images are made up of a grid of pixels and have a fixed resolution. They are created using software like Adobe Photoshop and are pixel-based. Raster images are suitable for photographs, complex artwork, and images that require fine details or realistic rendering.

For website design, it's advisable to primarily use vector images for scalability and faster loading times. However, consider cybersecurity aspects when selecting images to ensure they don't pose security risks.
