Texas wrote a thread on this topic, though it might involve more in-depth changes to your hardware. https://forum.wearedevs.net/t/18456
If you are looking to speed up your operating system without doing a reinstall, you should look into why it is slowing down in the first place. Is a hardware bottleneck restricting performance? if so, nothing you do on the software side short of reinstalling something much lighter will have much effect. A duel core CPU runs slow no matter how many files you remove off windows 10/11.
@Rayn
On Linux (I have used arch for all my testing) Roblox studio has always worked, as the network stack that caused Roblox player to error on wine was not an issue. Roblox player was patched to work on Linux/BSD in version 6.11, later brought to mainline wine in version 7 stable. See:

Visual studio code has had a long life of support on Linux, as many developers are using the operating system. The IDE is also open source, so anyone who wants to compile or make changes for compatibility reasons can do so for their use cases. https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/setup/linux
Pycharm also has versions for Linux and is also open source. The IDE is actively maintained in the Arch Linux AUR and other distro repositories. https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/#section=linux

@Rayn It does support VSC and Roblox. However Roblox is buggy and you'd have to use Wine.
